We are currently in search of a Deputy Regional Director for an International Jewish Advocacy Organization. This position is remote, with a preference for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, or Seattle. This is a permanent, full-time position.

SALARY: $85k – $95k/year
Is This Your Dream Job? The Deputy Regional Director will report to the Northwest Regional Director and will be a key part of a seven-person team responsible for strengthening the organizations impact and expanding its leadership base in Northern California. The role will focus on raising operating funds, facilitating political donations, and building strong relationships with donors and leaders in the region.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in fundraising, donor relations, or organizing
- Strong commitment to the mission of promoting peace, justice, and democracy in Israel/Palestine
- Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, leaders, and stakeholders
- Proven experience in developing and managing fundraising events
- Understanding of the political landscape in the U.S. and the Jewish community
- Willingness to travel regionally (valid driver’s license required)
- Familiarity with Northern California’s congressional delegations and its political landscape is a plus
How You Will Spend Your Day:
Development:
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing donors to maintain and grow their support.
- Identify new funding sources through research, prospecting, and outreach.
- Foster long-term financial growth with multi-year and planned giving.
- Plan and implement high-impact donor events that both raise new funds and expand the network of leaders.
Relationship Steward:
- Identify, develop, and empower leaders in key cities to help drive the mission forward.
- Engage lay leaders in the organization’s advocacy work, political power building, and community organizing.
Chapter Stewardship:
- Build the capacity of local chapters in the Bay Area and Sacramento, supporting their growth and impact.
- Work with chapter chairs to create a supportive community and organize strategic programming aligned with the organization’s goals.
