A compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. If you are dedicated to fostering independence, building connections, and providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a DSP, you will:

  • Support participants in their daily routines, encouraging autonomy and engagement
  • Implement personalized care plans and document progress toward goals
  • Assist with health monitoring, medication administration, and behavioral support
  • Facilitate social and recreational activities, promoting community integration
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and adapt strategies to individual needs

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in DSP training (provided within 120 days of hire)
  • Certification in Medication Administration (provided within 160 days of hire)
  • CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention certification (provided through training)
  • Physically capable of lifting/moving participants up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) and basic computer skills

Preferred Experience

  • Previous work with adults with developmental disabilities
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
