Part-Time | Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (20 hours/week)
West Side Presbyterian Church is seeking a warm, organized, and tech-savvy individual to join
our team as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Communications & Community
Engagement. This key support role helps keep our congregation informed, connected, and
welcomed—both in person and online.
You’ll work at the front desk and behind the scenes—creating flyers and emails, updating the
website, greeting visitors, and coordinating events. If you enjoy helping others, have a gift for
communication, and thrive in a collaborative, mission-focused setting, we’d love to hear from
you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors and answering phones with warmth and professionalism
- Designing flyers, newsletters, and digital signage
- Assisting with website updates and internal calendar management
- Supporting logistics for events and communications
- Collaborating with staff and volunteers to support West Side’s mission
Preferred qualifications:
- Administrative, hospitality, or communications experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A welcoming spirit and a heart for service
- Graphic design or content creation experience a plus
